They’re lying down on the couch, Chris’s back pressed to Darren’s chest, not really paying attention to whatever movie Darren put on and muted the moment they walked in. It’s not really about the movie, it’s more about the relaxing, about the being quietly together, and Chris can feel his eyelids getting heavier.
But he can also feel something hard in Darren’s pants.
“Seriously, Darren?” Chris throws a half-amused, half-annoyed look over his shoulder. He was seriously looking forward to a nap. Darren furrows his eyebrows, and, damn, actually does a really good job of looking confused.

Notes: Blaine POV, so along with Kadam you’ll get some solo!Blaine and onesided Klaine.Scandals hadn’t left him with much of an impression - about 95 percent of the crowd was over 35, and while Sebastian had been fun and a good dancer - throughout the night Blaine kept hoping that Kurt would come over from the bar and dance with him. That was why they went in the first place, right? To celebrate each other - with each other.
Part of Blaine wonders what he’s doing here exactly - one, because he thought he was done with this scene and two, going to a club by himself on his first night in New York City just seems kind of sad. But it’s not like it’s his fault. His roommate had a date to go see Jersey Boys, and Kurt said that he was busy tonight too.
So much for trying to win over his ex-boyfriend while living it up - but that can wait another day. They still have a lifetime after all.
